COMMON SWIFT / TÅRNSEILER / APUS APUS
The common swift is good news for the biodiversity. It used to be red listed in Norway, but the last years it has been upgraded to Least Concern (LC) and has today a stable amount. There are some decreasing in Sweden and Denmark.Did you know that the common swift spends almost all its life in the air? It can stay up to 10 months continuously in the air.And did you know that it is one of the the fastest flying birds, able to reach 31 m/s or 111 km/h?'
THE RED LIST PROJECT
"These beautiful species are at risk to disappear. Thousands are threatened with extinction right now. Many because of human activity. Think about the influence we have, to being able to conserve and protect them. We can stop species from going extinct. We can seek knowledge. We can improve their life conditions. We can co-exist".
